Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) @ Vision India

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship outcome-based skill training scheme of the new Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Vision India is affiliated with PMKVY for its successful implementation with an objective to enable and mobilizes a large number of Indian youth to take up outcome based skill training and become employable and earn their livelihood. The program would facilitate skill certification and reward schemes- under the scheme, monetary reward would be provided to trainees who are successfully trained, assessed and certified in skill courses run by training providers.

Key features of the PMKVY are:

  • Training will be done against standards (National Occupational Standards – NOS and Qualification Packs – QPs.
  • Transparent funding of skill training with monetary rewards directly transferred to the trainees bank account.
  • Target for skill training would be demand driven.
  • Target aligned to national flagship programs and regions.
  • PMKVY would essentially target drop out students after class 10 and class 12.​
  • Recognition of prior learning and inclusion of Informal sector employees too.
  • Robust regime for registration of training providers.
  • Focussed awareness building and mobilisation activities.
  • Improved curricula, better pedagogy and trained instructors.
  • Enhanced monitoring and Mentorship support.
  • Scrutinized Evaluation and ensure proper Grievance redressal.

The Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) is a Non-Profit Organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Set up under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation, TSSC is an industry led apex body formed up to ensure adequate availability of skilled manpower to boost growth and productivity in the Telecom Sector.

Vision India is affiliated with and certified by TSSC to become a master trainer to carry out Training Batches.

  • Synergy with our Rural BPO section: The trainees trained from TSSC program are placed and Guaranteed in the Rural BPO vertical.
  • Candidate Upliftment: The candidates are trained in Telecom sector to a great extent to make them employable in the particular sector.

RASCI is a not-for-profit, independent public limited organisation established under Section 25 of the Companies Act. Funded by the Government of India along with Equity participation from Retailer’s Association of India, RASCI aims to function as the Apex Skill Development Council for the Retail Industry.

RASCI is a collaborative and comprehensive source of retail expertise and independent advice for industry, training organizations, educational institutions, certifying bodies, employees, students or jobseekers about skills development in the retail industry.
