Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Trainer- Assistant Beauty Therapist to train students/trainees in basic beauty therapy services, grooming, hygiene, and customer care. The trainer will focus on developing practical skills, professional conduct, and industry-relevant knowledge in line with beauty and wellness standards..

Key Responsibilities

· Train students/trainees in basic beauty therapy services, including:

o Skin care treatments (clean-up, facial basics)

o Hair care basics

o Manicure and pedicure

o Makeup fundamentals

· Conduct theory and hands-on practical training sessions

· Educate trainees on personal hygiene, workplace cleanliness, and safety practices

· Train on proper use and maintenance of beauty tools, equipment, and products

· Demonstrate client handling, consultation, and customer service skills

· Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback

· Prepare and update training materials, lesson plans, and practical manuals

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and salon ethics

· Maintain training lab/salon discipline and hygiene

· Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements

· Coordinate with academic/management teams for effective training delivery

· Stay updated with latest beauty therapy trends and practices

Qualification

· Diploma in Cosmetology / Beauty Therapy / Beauty Culture from a recognized institution
OR

· Graduate in any discipline with ITI Diploma in Cosmetology Trade having STC from a recognized institution
OR

· Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution

Experience

· Diploma holders: Minimum 1 year of relevant work or teaching experience

· Graduates with ITI Diploma: Relevant experience as per trade requirements

· Graduates (any discipline): Minimum 3 years of relevant work or teaching experience in the beauty therapy field

Note: Selected candidates must acquire SSC certification in Assistant Beauty Therapist within 1 year of appointment, if not already certified.

Age Limit

· 18 to 40 year
