Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vocational Trainer- Electric Vehicle Service Assistant to train students/trainees in inspection, servicing, maintenance, and basic repair of electric vehicles. The trainer will ensure trainees gain practical skills, safety awareness, and industry-relevant knowledge aligned with EV standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Train students/trainees in Electric Vehicle servicing and maintenance

· Deliver theory and practical sessions on:

o EV architecture and components

o Electric motors, controllers, and inverters

o Battery systems (Li-ion), BMS basics, and charging systems

o EV electrical wiring, connectors, and sensors

· Conduct hands-on practical training in workshop/lab environments

· Train trainees on EV tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety procedures

· Ensure strict adherence to high-voltage safety norms and PPE usage

· Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback

· Develop, update, and maintain lesson plans, training manuals, and practical modules

· Guide trainees on vehicle inspection, fault identification, and service documentation

· Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements

· Maintain discipline, safety, and proper use of workshop equipment

· Coordinate with academic and industry teams to ensure training relevance

· Stay updated with latest EV technologies, charging standards, and service practices

Qualification

· Bachelor Degree in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/ from a recognized Institute/University
OR

· Three-Year Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / from a recognized Institute/University
OR

· B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocation) in Automobile / Electric Vehicle / EV Technology from a recognized Institute/University

Experience

· Bachelor Degree holders: Minimum 1 year of relevant EV service, maintenance, or teaching experience

· Diploma holders: Minimum 3 years of relevant EV service, maintenance, or teaching experience

· B.Voc holders: Minimum 2 years of relevant EV service, maintenance, or teaching experience

Age Limit

· 18 to 40 years
