Job Overview
We are seeking a Vocational Trainer Assistant Plumber General to train students/trainees in basic plumbing operations, installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. The trainer will focus on practical skill development, safety practices, and industry-relevant knowledge aligned with plumbing standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Train students/trainees in basic plumbing installation and maintenance work
· Deliver theory and practical sessions on:
o Plumbing tools, materials, and fittings
o Pipe cutting, joining, and fixing techniques
o Water supply and drainage systems
o Sanitary fixtures installation and maintenance
· Conduct hands-on workshop and site-based training
· Educate trainees on workplace safety, PPE usage, and good housekeeping
· Demonstrate correct use and maintenance of plumbing tools and equipment
· Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
· Prepare and update training materials, lesson plans, and practical manuals
· Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality practices
· Guide trainees on basic estimation and material identification
· Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
· Coordinate with academic/management teams for effective training delivery
· Stay updated with latest plumbing techniques and materials
Qualification
· B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University
OR
· B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocation) from a recognized Institute/University
OR
· Three-Year Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute
Experience
· B.Tech / B.Voc holders: Minimum 1 year of relevant work or teaching experience in plumbing or related field
· Diploma holders: Minimum 2 years of relevant work or teaching experience in plumbing or related field
Age Limit
· 18 to 40 years
