Block Level Purpose: To provide leadership to the Block team for strengthening the processes at the Block level
Job Roles & Responsibility:
Identify stakeholders like vulnerable, socially excluded groups, Women, Differently-abled, SC/STs, minorities and other under privileged sections and mobilize them into Self Help Groups and its federations.
Ensure that 67% rural Households are covered and brought into the fold of SHGs.
Undertake field visits proactively.
Roll-out Micro Plan process for community and their institutions.
Facilitate Credit linkage support to SHGs through timely disbursement of Community Support Fund (like- Start-up fund, RF, CIF, VRF, etc.) and Bank Linkage
Provide necessary technical and management support for implementation of all Mission activities and conduct regular review meetings.
Discuss periodically, the indicators of various activities under implementation of JKRLM with the MIS assistants cum accountants and CBO staff.
Support Community Federations in layering activities like social security and development, convergence, livelihoods activities, partnership, etc.
Facilitate in development of Community Cadre.
Work as master trainer for BMMU, community institution, community cadre and other stakeholders and facilitate the Capacity Building of Community Institutions
Document case studies of best practices, success stories and innovations of SM/ IB existing in the district to draw lessons and share with SMMU for replication in other districts
Orient and train the relevant Community Resource Persons under various thematic verticals.
Identify opportunities and implement activities under convergence model
Facilitate preparation of plans by community level institutions (at CLF level) and its implementation.
Coordinate with banks for bank linkage of SHGs with the support of the financial inclusion cell at DMMU and SMMU.
Facilitate design, strategy and roll out of annual work plans, perspective plans under the Monitoring and Evaluation component for the block.
Undertake regular monitoring through field visits
Identify the vulnerable stakeholders in the block with reference to Women, Differently-abled, SC/STs and other under privileged sections.
Report to DMMU and facilitate submission of MPRs, QPRs, updation on various National MIS and other relevant reports.
Liaison with PRI institutions, line departments and other non-government organisations
Take up any other task as allocated by competent authority at SMMU/DMMU.
